my sweet girl is about fifteen months now. i feel like i didn’t get a chance to really gush all about her around her actual birthday, so i thought i’d share a little about eleanor now that i have a chance to breathe and upload some of these photos.

eats: everything. eleanor (and everett for that matter) are ALWAYS asking for snacks. or she’ll be begging for whatever you’ve got on your plate or in your cup! loves any cookie, pretzels, cheese puffs, blueberries, watermelon, dirt, rocks, pasta, cereal, french fries, and – most importantly – all the milk.

loves: stealing swigs of my coffee and snacks (did i already say that?). loves her sleep + dinos (good thing everett has too many to keep track of!). always pulling out her bows + barrettes when she’s in the car, plus ditching the pig tails that took me a good 10 minutes to sit her down for in the first place. wearing just her diaper/pjs with one shoe is her jam. tell her ‘NO’ she giggles at you, looks at you with those baby blues, and does it anyway. she loves to be outside and barefoot. destroying rooms in 2 seconds flat. dancing, jumping, books, + her stuffed animal collection.

says: she’s really saying a lot of words in the last few weeks. she says momma, dada, yaya, grandman, kiki, bubby, everett, thank you, and she just started saying ‘woof’ like a pup. which is the cutest thing ever. and she is trying to say her cousin ivey’s name too.

eleanor is full of personality. she is such a fun-loving, free spirit. she loves to be held and snuggled at all times, yet she’ll want to go on her own in the same moment. she is so curious and loves her brother so much. she looks up to him and tries her little heart out to do any + everything he’s doing. it has to be the best thing in the world to watch them chase each other around the house, laughing hysterically. man, do i love being their momma!
