total chaos. that is what comes to mind when i think of how hectic the last few weeks have been.

rett started school a few weeks ago. as you can see below, we totally nailed that first day photo… also, i had the class screamer. i was honestly shocked – and a little embarrassed that he was OUT OF HIS MIND when i tried to leave…so i was actually laughing the whole time. looking back, i feel bad for laughing but the situation was so out of character for him that i couldn’t help it! once i left the principal sent me a text with a smiling photo of my boy, so that made it all better. and when i picked him up, he said that he had, and i quote, a peachy day. haha! needless to say, we retook the first day picture when we got home.

moving has been so fun! i LOVE it! i could literally do this once a week…said no one EVER. E.V.E.R. i already told andrew that i will move one more time into our last home. that is it. moving is for the birds. #overit did i mention that i hate moving?

in the midst of everything else – andrew went up to canada for a hunting trip, so thankfully my mom and sister helped me out with unpacking and with the kids. i don’t know what i’d do without them! although this process has been a little crazy, it is going to be so awesome living next door to my family.

so now we are just doing our new normal and it’s going great! i think we are all settled in. and i plan to get back into the swing of things around here, too. just in time for fall! here’s to pumpkin spice everything!
