tarte Amazonian Clay Blush.

I am a makeup lover. I enjoy putting it on myself and other people. It is fun to experiment with new looks – whether that is a lip color, eye shadow trick, liner, etc. While I do like to be creative, I do have my simple staples…and one VERY important essential in my makeup bag is blush. Blush can brighten your face and give you a nice, healthy glow. Even if I’m not putting on the whole shebang, I still wear some blush to, like I said, give a glow to my skin.

I reviewed another product from the Tarte line – the Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation (you can read about that here). I absolutely love the foundation! So I thought I’d give the blush a try.

Often times I find my blush disappearing by the end of the day – so I use WAY too much in the morning to overcompensate and hopefully make it last…it never really helps and then I look like a clown with too much blush on my face. When I saw the Amazonian Clay Blush in the store, I noticed that the package said it lasts for 12 hours. Yeah. Right. But, I was intrigued and bought it anyway.

Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush

Sonia Kashuk No. 113

Good golly! It’s awesome! It truly does last for 12 hours. When I get home from my day at work, it looks like I just applied my makeup. It’s so fresh, the pigment is still bright – it looks perfect.

I currently have ‘Captivating’ – a warm peachy color. Tarte makes the blush in many different shades. I thought a warm peach would be nice with my skin tone, especially because I plan to have a tan at some point this summer…if I ever get outside to see the sun!

All in all, I am a definite fan of this blush and will absolutely be adding more shades to my makeup stash!
