the longest short week everrrrr, but – MAN! – that was a great weekend! sunshine, grilling, cold beer, playgrounds, friends & family…what more could we ask for in february? makes me so excited for spring!

we had some long overdue friend-time on friday. our friends have kiddos rett and elea’s ages, so it was great to hangout while they entertained each other! we celebrated my grandpa’s birthday on saturday over at my parents’ house. everett was having a blast in the leaves (if you follow my instagram account, i’m sure you saw my instastory…haha!). sunday – my sister and i packed up the kids in our stroller, along with a picnic, and headed to the local playground! everett was so excited to go and talked about it the whole way there! (while he was riding…) me and my sis, on the other hand, were struggling to push that stroller. why are there so many hills in my neighborhood?? also, this girl needs to get on the workout train. #yikes. let me repeat, #YIKES.

eleanor hadn’t been to a playground yet, so i put her in the infant swing. she was laughing so hard!! these kids really make me appreciate the simple things in life.
