halloween is right around the corner – like T minus three days away! and while this month has been a total whirlwind, i’m looking forward to dressing the kids up and participating in some trunk or treats and letting rett collect lots of candy!
these two… no words. the definition of hot mess express.
i always love decorating for halloween – well, fall in general. i’m loving the white, grey, and green pumpkins with the traditional orange. such a nice combo. it’ll carry over nicely once the halloween decor comes down.
BATS! these are super easy! you can totally DIY them, but this momma doesn’t have time for that especially with someone’s little fingers constantly wanting to help. so these were picked up from ben franklin’s but i’m sure target or walmart has some similar! they are easy to hang with tape and add a little something to the walls! our house is small, so i can’t do a ton with decorating. these are perfectly festive.
and i had to do a little bit in the kids’ room! a little DIY banner to hang over each bed. love the way it turned out. and since they share, it’s nice to have a little something to differentiate each side, but still tie them together.
so the house is decorated, the candy is ready to pass out to all of the little neighborhood trick or treaters, the menu is set, and i’ve been busy getting my little monsters’ costumes in order. the spirit of all hallows’ eve is upon us! next up, carving ‘punkins’. 😀
happiest friday, friends!
